Pehli Si Muhabbat Episode 15 Review
Pehli Si Muhabbat continues to question the double standards and hypocrisy of society. The writer makes sure that all the characters add something meaningful to the story. Today's episode was about the aftermath of Sikandar's actions, and Rakhshi's track in particular was cleverly used by the author to address some key points.
This Drama continues to focus on the parents' lack of acceptance of their children's feelings. Women in particular have to pay a higher price because they have the honor of family. I'm so glad this Pakistani Serials wasn't advertised as a social drama, but it could speak better for women than many other Pakistani Serials.

If Akram hadn't been so strict, Zainab would have led a different life now! I love the way the writer has used secondary characters like Nargis and Rakhshi's friends to ask questions that viewers want answers to.

Rakhshi and Aslam's romance becomes even more complicated with Sikandar in the photo. This also makes it more interesting as Zainab has room to step in and this potentially results in some sort of closure for them. Rakhshi's "protest" was brilliantly written and executed. However, it would have been even more impactful if Maya Ali hadn't been wearing so much makeup. Her performance was perfect, but the makeup didn't agree at all. Maya Ali portrayed Rakhshi's desperation and helplessness on screen in an outstanding way. Aslam seems to get stronger with each episode.

There was not a single scratch on Aslam's face and he looked quite radiant to someone who had been beaten so hard. Faiz Ullah seemed like a well-balanced character, but turns out to be quite typical. It is painful to see him treat Rakhshi so brutally.

Nargis reacted in this episode and that turned out to be one of the best elements of this most recent episode. She is fearless and very different from Zainab, she doesn't believe in compromise. At the same time, their personality has a loving and sensitive side that makes their temperament healthy. Surely someone like her would not have sat down and tolerated these insults. She continued to express her opinion of her until Faiz
Ullah apologized, and even after he apologized, she gave him much-needed reality checks. This character was brilliantly written as Nargis always has the courage to say things most women wouldn't dream of saying.

Uzma Hassan delivers so well that even in all the scenes without dialogue you can see what Zainab is going through.
Paras Masroor also lived up to his character perfectly. While Murad is poisonous, there are also times when you "understand" his frustrations. As with all of the other characters, the logic behind his toxic behavior makes sense, but is obviously not an excuse for it.
This was another significant episode of Pehli Si Mohabbat with outstanding achievements. The preview of the next episode was tempting; I can't wait for Zainab to find out what Sikandar is up to in particular.
