Today's episode of Pehli Si Mohabbat was thrilling and laid the foundation for the most important development in the next episode. I have to say that I think every episode of this drama makes sense and I feel completely involved in everyone's story. Each character has been convincingly engraved, all of these characters are also superimposed, hence the surprises every now and then. Aside from that, the drama has been very fast so far. Tonight, Niggi's track added lighthearted moments to an otherwise serious episode, despite Aslam and Rakhshi's blackmail causing them problems. The scenes of Zainab and Aslam together are always a pleasure. Uzma Hassan is an amazing actress and Shehryar Munawar is delightful as her younger brother who is a confidant and friend. Akram, Aslam, and Zainab are all different individuals, but none are black and white. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, which makes these characters easily recognizable and their stories more interesting.
Tonight's episode was very much about blackmailing niggers. She was shown how to get the most out of the situation when she realized that Aslam and Rakhshi were in a vulnerable position. Niggi's demands continued to grow over time, until she asked for Rakhshi's mother's jewelry and Rakhshi felt truly helpless. Eventually Nargis will step in and then Rakhshi will finally begin to appreciate her. Even though Niggi is a blackmailer, her scenes were lighthearted and the actress playing the role completely nailed her lightheartedness! At the same time, Maya Ali made it easier to understand what Rakhshi was going through due to this ongoing blackmail. Aslam, on the other hand, went with the flow and didn't think much about the consequences. Through this track, Rakhshi will finally begin to trust Niggi. This is what I really appreciate about the script so far, it all leads to something important.

The applicationToday we found out that Nawaz's son is the same man that Zainab was in love with. This is another title that will be linked to the other titles in the story. Rakhshi was too young at the time, so she doesn't know this is the same man. Faiz Ullah is more than ready to marry her daughter to an older man, but Nargis was right again. The character of Nargis turns out to be the best female character in this drama. She is compassionate and at the same time she knows how to scold someone when she deserves it! Rabia Butt is as brilliant as Nargis. She has been betrayed and instead of being bitter, she doesn't want Rakhshi to be betrayed in the same way. After Aslam found out about her proposal, she decided to visit her sister so that she could ask for advice. Rakhshi isn't the kind of girl who can voice her opinion, so this romance is likely to take tragic turns in the next few episodes. I enjoyed Faiz Ullah's conversation with Akram. She was smart about the situation. Akram is an impulsive fool who is constantly worried about what others think and talk about. His dialogues about his daughters were sad!
The tracks of ZainabSo today we understood the reason for Murad's resentment and anger. He knows that Zainab was in love with someone else and he feels he is not worthy of their love or attention. Zainab's behavior also shows that she cannot express herself otherwise when she is around him. Her conversation with Aslam also indicated that she was blaming herself more than Murad. These dialogues wonderfully explained how difficult it is for people to move forward and how difficult it is to make marriages work when such secrets are revealed. Murad's apology was a pleasant surprise, even if it shouldn't be easily forgiven.
Aslam is the younger brother who loves his aapa but is unable to do much. Zainab has completely resigned herself to her fate and it is almost as if she feels nothing. Will you give Murad a chance? And has she really moved on? The scenes in one of the previous episodes indicated that she couldn't let go of her memories, that she also mentioned her in her conversation with Aslam. Their situation is complex, and although both people are capable of loving and making a marriage work, they have met under the most unfortunate circumstances. This track conveys such an important message: weddings don't guarantee a happy ending and everything doesn't work magically!
