Bakht eventually found out that Samreen was not only engaged, but was also very pleased with Saleh. Saleh seems like a very honest person in general who treats Samreen as she expects. Samreen is problematic and does all of this for sadistic pleasure. Seeing Meerab in agony makes her happy and that alone is reason enough to want her to leave him alone as soon as possible.

However, I'll say that I still don't hate her character even though I know how Samreen Meerab is with two punches and just kidding. Maham Amir played it so convincingly that in the midst of it all, I really want to know and understand why Samreen is the way she is. Another character portrayed and written by the author with so much clarity and the best is that she has proven nuances and has a lot of personality in her.


I thought the scene where Munni came to support Saima, Beenish and Iffat was really nice. It was a nice addition to this whole part because these guys definitely deserved someone's support and now Munni would play that role. I'm so glad Munni's character wasn't wasted as a divorced baby

In fact, she'll be everyone's best friend at home, and that gets even better. Interestingly, the author has kept a balance because where we see characters like Qifayat and Maliha who only think negatively, we have characters like Saiqa and Munni who want only the best for everyone.

Bakht has found reason after reason to fall in love with Meerab, and now that he's seen Samreen deceive him, all the more so. Likewise, Meerab is still heavily invested in Samreen and can't believe everything Bakht says about her, but sometimes he seems angry with Samreen too.

 He hasn't noticed it yet, but he's also developed a soft corner for Bakht in his heart, because if Samreen speaks against Bakht, Meerab doesn't even blame him. All of this is so believable and beautiful to look at that it really is something special.I have to say that the director should have been watching Shehnai to know how slowly feelings develop between characters in order to make them convincing and believable. Bakht fell in love with Meerab after seeing how selflessly he was there to support her and risked everything just to make sure she was safe. 



It was a real pleasure to watch these Shehnai episodes. Writer Radain Shah deserves all the praise for bringing us something so refreshing and fun. All the actors have adapted perfectly to the roles and the characters are even better. It's so good that Shehnai turned out to be such a great drama, perfect light-hearted entertainment with some very deep messages. Please share your thoughts on Shehnai.
